Pre & Post Treatment Care

To ensure your treatments are effective, and you receive the best results from the treatments please follow these pre and post-care recommendations.

In order to maximise your results, there are a few important things to know prior to your treatment plan.

It is important to note that non-invasive body sculpting treatments, while highly effective in targeted fat reduction, do not necessarily prevent future fat gain. They’re not able to remove large amounts of fat and are not a substitute for healthy eating and regular exercise. 

If you eat fatty foods often or sit at a computer all day long, you will most definitely regain those lost fat cells.

Healthy Habits

Understanding and reviewing your diet is a must before starting any body treatment. Objectively evaluate your daily food intake by keeping a food journal for at least a week. Keep track of each little snack and you will be able to see what can be improved. Make sure you eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables as well as the three macronutrients protein, carbohydrates, and fat. Do this and you can think of your body transformation goals – make them achievable and don’t be too strict on yourself.

Stay hydrated

Your lymphatic system may need assistance metabolising toxins and dissolved fat from the body. Drink plenty of water - minimum 2L

Physical Activity

20 minutes of elevated heart rate cardio exercise is recommended daily during the 5-week plan. This should be done as soon as possible after your sessions. The physical activity ensures any stored energy released by the process is burnt off.

Stimulate the treatment area

After your sessions, to promote movement around the treated area, it’s advised to massage it, or you can also use a body brush. This helps prevent fat and toxins from becoming stagnant and difficult to eliminate.

Keep Motivated!

Too often we get frustrated by focusing on a specific number on the scale, or even a task we must do to reach our goal (like working out), which is a pretty quick way to zap your zest.
Concentrate on your mood after you’ve eaten a healthy meal or how you feel after a great workout—weight-loss motivation doesn’t always have to come before an activity, If you focus on how you feel each time you exercise, you’ll get all the benefits of burning calories, plus the reinforcement of remembering how good it felt to do it, which should increase your motivation to do more.
